Hi, I’m Anelys!

I’m a Mental Health Counselor, author, and speaker with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. I have years of experience working with clients who have experience a traumatic event, helping them heal and become resilient to face life in the future. My approach is person-centered, I make sure to be present for you to help you feel supported and confident to explore the past and heal.

My approach blends psychology-backed techniques with practical, action-oriented guidance to help you create lasting positive change. Whether you’re seeking balance, clarity, or transformation, I’m here to support you in building a life that aligns with your values and well-being.

I wrote The Wellness Guide with the goal of bringing together research-based information that can help people create a healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.

Each chapter explores a foundational element of wellness, providing practical insights and strategies to support both mental and physical well-being. Topics include stress management, anxiety, sleep, nutrition, exercise, emotional health, relationships, and other key areas that influence our quality of life.

I enjoy helping individuals and organizations better understand the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being through engaging and practical presentations.

My workshops focus on topics such as stress management, anxiety, emotional wellness, resilience, healthy lifestyle habits, and evidence-based strategies that participants can apply in their daily lives. My goal is to make psychological concepts accessible, relatable, and actionable so that attendees leave with tools they can begin using immediately.
